View of the LNG trestle and the jetty
Deutsche Flüssigerdgas Terminal Gesellschaft plans to construct a jetty for up to 215,000 m³ LNG tankers, the so-called Q-Flex class. On land, two full-containment LNG tanks will be built (the outer wall will be made of prestressed concrete, the inner LNG tank will consist of 9% nickel steel).
